How durable are your composite doors?
Our composite doors are incredibly durable. The full timber core of Solidor’s composite door is fully encapsulated within a highly durable plastic edge banding along with two thermo-plastic skins for superior durability. Additionally, our composite doors come in ‘Through’ Colour ABS Skins, which is the same durable plastic that is on Lego pieces.
Universal’s composite door is also durable due to the glass-reinforced plastic skin that comes as standard with each of their composite doors, regardless of the core. This skin ensures that there is no cracking or delamination. Universal’s composite doors also offer protection and stability against external elements and against water ingress through the encased laminated veneer lumber and hardwood stiles and rails.
